Learning to sing is a deeply personal journey. Learning to share your voice with an audience is another challenge entirely.
The human voice is one of the most powerful musical instruments we possess. It can express joy, tenderness, strength, vulnerability, and emotion in a way that reaches people directly. Every accomplished singer once began with a single note, gradually discovering how practice, discipline, confidence, and imagination can transform a voice into something uniquely their own.
The Colibri Vocal Competition was created to give young singers a welcoming and supportive stage where they can experience the excitement and responsibility of live performance. Singing before a jury and an audience requires more than vocal ability – it calls for confidence, concentration, interpretation, stage presence, and the courage to communicate something genuine.
Colibri is more than a competition. It is a training platform where young performers develop stage confidence, receive valuable feedback from experienced judges, and celebrate their progress alongside fellow singers. Whether this is your very first public performance or another important step on your musical journey, every appearance on stage is an opportunity to learn, grow, and discover your own artistic voice.
We believe that every accomplished singer once stood where our participants stand today – with excitement, determination, and a dream. Every voice deserves to be heard, every participant deserves encouragement, and every musical journey deserves to be celebrated.
We invite young vocalists to step onto the stage, share their voices, discover their potential, and take another meaningful step on their musical journey.
